Resources

The Tax Receiver's Office is responsible for collecting and accounting for tax receipts for various town funds, fire districts, school districts, lighting districts, water districts, and special use districts. The office also sends out reminder notices to taxpayers and is part of the town finance function.

Under New York State Real Property Tax, property owners are still responsible for taxes on their property, regardless of whether they
receive a bill.
