Weather Forecast

UPDATED at 10:57 AM JANUARY 27, 2015

Blizzard conditions expected to continue into the afternoon hours, all motorists please stay off the roads to allow highway crews to work on clearing the roadways.

We are prepared to open shelters/warming centers in the event of power outages, however right now we are not opening any. First responders are working with plow crews and will be able to reach you in event of an emergency.

Highway crews are starting with the main arteries and will then move to the secondary roads. As this is a state of emergency, all Urban Renewal roadways will be plowed, but it may be into Wednesday before they are clear.

All Town offices and programs are closed. The EOC will remain open until further notice. Emergencies please dial 9-1-1, non emergency calls, or storm related inquiries to the main Police line 537-7575 or directly to the EOC at 907-9743.

Welcome to the Town of East Hampton's web site.

The site was developed to help improve communication with town residents and visitors and to invite citizen participation in town government.

It is my mission as supervisor and the mission of the town's boards, elected officials, department heads and personnel to govern the town openly, honestly, and with complete respect for the full involvement of town residents.

We invite you to take advantage of this website, town departments, and Town Board meetings to become more involved in helping to determine the future of the town.

We have a great and historic town history to uphold and many challenges to meet. All of us in town government look forward to working with you in preserving East Hampton as a special place to live, work, and visit.

Our very best regards.

Larry Cantwell
Town Supervisor
